Noah, my now four year old, has decided that he's old enough to date. On the way home from preschool he asks me this...
"Mommy, can Andrea come over to play. I want her to see my trains".
To which I reply, "I'm not sure, we'll have to talk to her mommy first, maybe we'll ask her sometime".
Noah then goes on to say, "I want Andrea and her Mommy to come over to eat with us and then play. I want Eli to meet Andrea... she's so so pretty, I love to play pirates with Andrea".
Then, we get home and Noah points our Andrea in his school picture and starts telling me that we need to have his favorite juice along with Mac 'n Cheese when she comes. I was going to go along with a play date at first, but now I feel like I'm playing match maker if I have her over. What's a mom to do? I was hoping that I wouldn't have to deal with this until at least grade school. HELP!!!! :)
